Dinner with a little extra drama

A little unconventional, a lot of fire––Ballyhoo turns up the heat and the volume. With bold Mediterranean and South American flavours, good wine in hand and slightly exaggerated energy, you'll go for the food but stay for the atmosphere.

The precinct

Located in the centre of culture and power within The National Triangle, The Lawns brings the energy.

For 50 years, The Lobby restaurant served as a backdrop for major moments in Australian political history. Located at the heart of the National Triangle, it was a meeting ground for ministers, staffers, and journalists...and sometimes the scene of scandals. Now we’re bringing back that energy—and more—for everyone to enjoy.
